The B&B Palazzo Mirelli is located in Chiaia inside of the area of Mergellina. The nearest subway is Metropolitana line 2, which travels throughout Naples from the Central Station to the city of Pozzuoli. The Mergellina Metro station is a historical building not far from the B&B. It takes just 5 minutes to arrive on foot.

In Mergellina, there is also a harbour specifically designed for tourism with Alilauro hydrofoils (http://www.alilauro.it) heading to Ischia and the Eolie Island.

In order to reach Posillipo and see, for example, the renowned beach “Bagno Elena”, the Pausylia Therme or to visit “Parco Virgiliano”, you need to take the ANM BUS nº 140. There is one bus stop just outside the B&B. Moreover, it is also possible to use the Funicular railway of Mergellina to go to some specific places in Posillipo, such as Via Manzoni.

Shopping and night life in Chiaia are best experienced by walking through the Villa Comunale or on the “Caracciolo” seaside towards Castle dell’Ovo. Anyway, you might also take a bus near the B&B that can take you, in just two or three stops, to nearby lively places such as Piazza San Pasquale or Piazza Vittoria.
